What is Relationship Theology?
The study of a living and interactive relationship with Jesus Christ:
- Knowing you have direct access to Jesus, Lord and Savior
- Realizing your sin debt was already paid by Christ on the cross
- Experiencing the Lord’s presence, guidance, and protection
- Reassuring eternal security through Christ
Expectations
A genuine and close relationship would typically include:
- The ability to approach another anytime and anywhere
- No fear of judgment or retribution
- Trust
- Mutual respect and appreciation
- Having the other’s best interests at heart
- A deep desire to always reconcile differences
- An unending feeling of acceptance and love
Incomparable
A relationship with Jesus includes:
- Unlimited access anytime, day or night, and anywhere, He is always just a prayer away.
- No condemnation; He came to save us, not to judge us.
- Endless admiration; He created you perfectly.
- Constant protection and guidance providing the dreams of your heart if you will just let Him in.
- His sacrifice on the cross so you will always have an eternal relationship with infinite love through the adoption into His family.
