The truth is, there is only one way, Jesus Christ! John 3:15 promises us; that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Jesus answered them in John 10:28 , “ And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” We already have the greatest promise in the universe. Jesus Christ has already paved the way to Heaven. Only Jesus could do this. Only Christ could pay our sin debt.

How could this be? We all know someone or have seen people die, or have we?

The answer; we are not just physical bodies. There is a spiritual world. 1 Cor. 15:44 explains it; It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Whether we believe it or not, we must be spiritually aware of the truth. In John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Through Christ we are “ born again” or Born of the Spirit. It is this spiritual birth through Christ that gives us an eternal relationship to God and will reunite us with the people we love who have passed before us. This is our blessed hope and our “ ticket to Heaven “.

Phil. 3:20 ; For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is a free gift, it is the only way. It is a one way ticket to an eternal relationship. You don’t have to be perfect, you don’t have to clean up your life by yourself. The only requirement is to submit with deep faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

My prayer for you:

Lord, bless this soul, show them your unconditional love. Let them believe in you, fill them with your Holy Spirit, make them a member of your eternal family.

We are designed by God to be vessels. In a vessel, a container, or even a boat you can carry items, liquids, or spiritual forces. Because the Lord gave us free will, what we put in our spiritual vessel can be good or bad. Jesus responded to the woman at the well in John 4:14

“ but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water opening up into everlasting life.”

I picture you and I like vessels of living water. Overflowing with the Holy Spirit of God. Most containers have a bottom and a limited capacity. Once you understand God’s economy, your vessel could be bottomless. Like a “ horn of plenty”, like a large clay pot formed by the Master, with an ocean of God’s power and provision behind it. Miracles detailed through out the Bible support this reality:

• 1 Kings 7:11-16 Elijah, the widow at Zarepath. A bottomless jar of flour and jug of oil.
• Exodus 17:3-6 Moses strikes the rock providing water in the desert for the thirsty masses.
• Matthew 14:13-21 Jesus feeds 5,000 with 5 loaves and 2 fish

We are reminded by Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:7

“ but we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us”

The key to this endless flow of living water is contingent upon our treatment of others and our relationship to God.

2 Timothy 2: 20-22

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.

Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

Flee also from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

When we put unconditional faith in Jesus, proclaiming “ use me Lord”, everything changes. We become a conduit, a bottomless vessel of love and hope abundantly sharing the Grace of God.

1 Peter 4:10

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

My prayer for you:
I pray you will come to realize the endless loving power of God that you can adopt through Christ and share with others. It will bring you peace and joy for the rest of eternity.

The real truth was stated by Jesus Himself in John 14:6. Jesus said to him, “ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to The Father except through me”. Why just Jesus? Don’t all paths lead to heaven? The reality is, only Jesus Christ the son of God could pay our insurmountable sin debt. Acts 4:12 spells it out: Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. John 3:16 tells us, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Some of us believe we can work our way to heaven with good deeds or a noble character. No, it is by our faith in Jesus and by His grace we are saved. Ephesians 2:8,9 tells us , For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it Is the gift of God, not by works, lest anyone should boast.

So what is the bottom line? How do I guarantee my salvation?

• First we must acknowledge or admit we are a sinner. ( we have violated God’s laws and are separated from His purity) Romans 3:23 states: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
• Then we need to repent: Admit to the Lord we are going the wrong way and we are willing to submit or accept His loving control and guidance. (change direction)
• Most importantly we must have faith and believe in Jesus Christ. Essentially Romans 10:9 is the key. If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord” , and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
• Romans 10:13 reaffirms ; for,” Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved “.

Thank you Jesus!!

So be aware of the whole truth, the unchangeable promise of God. Eventually you will be overwhelmed with the Lords incredible, unfathomable love.

I pray you will find Jesus, allow the Holy Spirit to take over your life, and live forever with God’s chosen people.

What is Sanctification? Is it something we can fully define or even control? Are we as individuals capable of even understanding what’s involved? The quick answer is NO! We do however know it is a gift from God! I believe we have no idea what the Lord see’s, knows, or has in store for our future. The truth is , we can not sanctify ourselves.

Sanctification is a process. It is activated by a single event, a one time act where we, on a individual basis, make ourselves right with God. When we submit or surrender our lives to Jesus Christ, by the grace of God we are accepted into His family. Through faith we become “justified “, our sins are forgiven. By repenting for our sins, by recognizing our fallen nature and need for Christ, the Lord redirects our lives. This is Divine Intervention!

We invite the Holy Spirit to guide and protect our “new lives”. We are really, through faith and surrender, beginning a sort of holy purification process. The Lord “sets us apart”, and brings us into conformity with His divine will. In short, we start to become more “Christ-like.”

Isn’t this the ultimate form of Divine Intervention? Aren’t we really being purified, cleansed, and prepared for Heaven? I have noticed this process in my own life. For example,

“I used to love horror movies, and being in construction, I would speak a little too foul-mouthed. Now, during my growing relationship with the Spirit, my desires have changed. I don’t like horror movies anymore; there is too much violence and evil thoughts. It bothers me now; it didn’t used to bother me, but now I avoid it. It’s the same with foul speech. Sure, I still need to control my tongue, but nasty language grates me the wrong way. Now, I am much more conscious of it and try to avoid any usage or exposure.” So what’s changed? Now I feel God’s growing presence and Love. I can see His work in the life of others.

The truth is, we have no idea where we need the most work and refinement. Like smelted gold, the impurities and sin must be separated and burned off before we can stand before our eternally perfect and holy Lord. The Bible promises us that we will eventually receive new glorified bodies and forever be in God’s presence. So what have we done to deserve this perfect love and eternal life? Nothing, it is a gift from God! It is by the grace of God, the greatest gift one can ever receive. So what can we do with this overwhelming gift? We can read and study the Bible with greater conviction. We can use our spiritual gifts God has given us to serve others. We can do our best to emulate Christ and avoid sinful behavior. We can pray, obey, and glorify His Holy name with grateful and contrite hearts. God will do the rest by intervening on our behalf.

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. I Thessalonians’s 5:23. NIV
